In the goods and real estate of Andrew Stephens, late of
Goodrich, near Obley, in the Colony of New South Wales,
innkeeper, deceased, intestate.
NOTICE is hereby given, that at the expiration of fourteen
days from the publication of this notice, application will be
made to this Honorable Court, in its Ecclesiastical Juriediction,
that letters of administration of the goods, chattels, credits, and
effects and real estate of the abovenamed Andrew Stephens,
deceased may be granted to Rose Mary Stephens, the widow
and lawful relict of the said deceased. Dated this 10th day of
August, a.d. 1874.

Hi Tom, My family used to own Goodrich until about 10 years ago. Nothing much left of Goodrich except some rocks on the ground around what was the gold
mine ‏(which is a huge hole in the ground)‏. I don’t think there’s anything left of the old smelter on the river. Has been like that the past 40 years of my life. There is only one marked grave on the flat near the river but I don’t recall the name on it. If you would like to visit you would need to get in touch with Colin and Robyn Hood ‏(who own it now)‏ - 0429 843 802.

Sadly the history on the area is quite thin.
